Via Hanseatica is the official name of Crete Corridor No 1A, which is included in the Pan-European Transport Network. The Via Hanseatica lies in the direction of Lübeck-Gdansk-Kaliningrad-Riga-Valga_tartu-Narva-St.Petersburg. The said zone would also have enormous impact on the economy of the southern and Southeasten regions of Estonia, especially the develpoment of the tourism sector.
