HOW TO GET TO TARTU?
Flights
On 30 October 2011, British low cost airline launched international regular flights between Tartu and Helsinki. Helsinki-Tartu flights take place six times a week, a flight lasting only 50 minutes.
Regular flights have also been launched between Tartu and Tallinn. 33-seater SAAB 340 connects the two biggest cities six times a week, with flights lasting 45 minutes.

Airport Shuttle
A 19-seater minibus will take you from Tartu Airport at Ülenurme to any point in the city of Tartu. The bus departs from the airport around 20 minutes after each arriving flight, but will wait for all passengers who want to use the transport service. You can also arrange for the minibus to pick you up wherever you are in Tartu and take you to the airport at Ülenurme. For bookings, call +372 505 4342 or make one online at www.tartaline.ee at least 12 hours before your scheduled departure. A ticket costs € 3. You can pay for your ticket in cash or by card.

Buses known as TäistunniEkspress run between Tartu and Tallinn between 7.00 am and 8.00 pm, departing on the hour from both cities and providing passengers with newspapers and free WiFi.
